Hello, I'm William L. Monette. Thank you for visiting my "About Me" page. I hold a BA in Chemistry and an MEd in Counselor Psychology from Arizona State University. I've worked for the Arizona & Tennessee Departments of Education as an Instructor & Counselor and for the Tennessee Dept of Children's Services as a Family Case Manager. I have more than 40 years of experience in marriage & family relationships, communication dynamics, compulsive behaviors, support group design and grief & depression recovery.

At age 14, I was driving my father to the liquor store for vodka and cigarettes. I also drove him to open A.A Meetings that I attended with him where I was extremely influenced by the raw, trusting honesty and the great life stories. These people were real, authentic, funny, caring like no people I'd ever experienced and they sparked my lifetime journey into helping others thru communication dynamics. I would later attend 12 Step Support Groups for my own emotional maturity. Since my teen years, I've maintained a persistent belief in and passion for communication dynamics (support group style) which lead me to structure the 8 Safe Communication Skills in the books I've authored. Central to my heart's conviction is a firm belief that common Love Behaviors (understood yet often neglected) and Safe Communication Skills do, remarkably enhance any and every person's capacity to love and to accept being loved.
