- About My Library
- I read a wide range of books. I love historical fiction of course, because it's what I write. I like to read Australian authors, especially new and emerging ones, so that I can give my encouragement and support to them. I also have favourite authors from other nationalities. I love period novels, especially English. I find the history, settings and culture of these most enjoyable. I'm always up for trying a new author.
- About Me
- I live on the south coast of NSW, Australia with my husband and close to my two married children and four grandchildren. I am a psychologist in private practice and also an author of historical fiction based on my family history research. I have been collating my family history and that of my husband's family for nearly forty years so have lots of material. I find true stories fascinating and really believe that truth can be stranger than fiction.
However, I do love to speculate and imagine the parts of my ancestors lives that I don't know in fact, so have created characters, events, conflicts, romances and intrigues which I can't be sure really happened, but which fit into the facts that I've gathered. In so doing I hope I've created interesting, engaging and entertaining stories based in early Australian history. - Location
