- About My Library
The African American Cultural Library, located on the campus of Greater Grant A.M.E. Church in Jacksonville, Florida, was established in response to the banning of culturally significant books in public schools throughout the state.
Its primary objective is to commemorate and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of African Americans, as well as the literary works that chronicle our diverse and profound history. Our commitment extends to providing accessible resources and programs designed for children spanning from pre-K to grade 12, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our cultural heritage.
