FYI
I have uploaded a cover for Yankee Blitzkrieg: Wilson’s Raid Through Alabama and Georgia by James Pickett Jones. This is from the 1976 University of Georgia Press hardcover edition.
FYI
I have uploaded a cover for Van Dorn: The Life and Times of a Confederate General by Robert G. Hartje. This is from the original 1967 Vanderbilt University Press edition.
FYI
I have uploaded a cover for The Night the War Was Lost by Charles L. Dufour. This is from the original 1960 hardcover edition.
Hi JGY, I see we share a lot of Civil War and NM titles. I don't believe you have a copy of a little gem: "My Life with the Army in the West: Memoirs of James E. Farmer." A short but highly interesting memoir of the Southwest including the GLorieta campaign.
There might be something else of interest under my SOUTHWEST tag. Regards, A
Thank you for the information. I will look for another copy of this book.
Would you please help me with a simple matter? I recently bought a copy of James Lee McDonough's Chattannoga—A Death Grip on the Confederacy (University of Tennessee Press, 1984). When the book is closed, there is an odd mottling on the top of the pages. I thought at first it was mold or something similar, but someone suggested that it might be a sort of decorative or antiquing pattern. Does your copy have this same thing? I just need a second opinion. Thanks!
