About My Library
My library is a diverse mix of fiction and non-fiction. I favor writers who can write beautiful prose and capture the full range of what it is to be human. I want to see, taste and feel the words. I sometimes read a mass market thriller or mystery when I just want a fast read to clear out my head.

I have books all over the house. I don't have enough bookshelves to accommodate them all. They're neatly piled on the floor or a table. I've probably given away more that I currently own. It was hard for me to make the decision to let them go. It required many conversations with myself. But, the books were literally taking over my space. I had to be practical. Now I have no qualms about giving them away.

I share books with my husband by reading out loud. We discovered early on that I had to be the reader because when he read, I'd immediately fall asleep. To date, I've read hundreds of books out loud.
