Hi Martin, thanks for the message! It's nice to see more South Africans turning up on Librarything, which is a brilliant site. And yes, I'm lucky to have a fellow bookworm in my life -- makes everything so much more convenient when your partner does not mind that you have your nose in a book for hours on end.

Have fun!

Hi there - sorry to reply so late but my internet connection has been down for a few days. No - I don't know who G. McGregor is although I was at school in Mthatha with a Gerald McGregor. So if the book seems to have an Eastern Cape connection it might have been his. Interesting though how books get around, isn't it. Are you on Book Crossing by any chance? If not, you might like to have a look at that and at Book Mooch. I think the URLs are in my profile.
All the best, Tony
