About meI am a native of Seattle but am a software tester in Oakland, CA.
I received my MA in Humanities (Philosophy) focusing on 19th and early 20th secret societies, esotericism, and fraternal orders in December, 2007. My specific topic was on the view of the soul in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
I will be starting doctoral studies at the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) in Berkeley, CA. I plan to focus my doctoral work on Japanese esoteric Buddhism.
I am a practicing Buddhist and an ordained priet in the Linji Lineage of Korean Zen.
About my libraryI am an avid reader of many sorts of topics. Broadly, my books fall into geek stuff, anthropology and history, religious studies, esotericism (both academic and popular), and science fiction.
