I've not been keeping up with Jonathan Carroll...I think Wooden Sea was my last read of his. He's a bit unique, I'd be hard-pressed to name someone quite like him. Maybe Gaiman...what do you think? Do you read Graham Joyce? I see you also read China Mieville? Do you like his stuff. I have said that I don't really read fantasy (proper, epic or high...whatever one wants to call it) but he would be my one exception.
We share a fabulous eclectic mix of books and I can see from the "random books from freemiki's library" that we will share many more once I get busy and enter more books (rather a daunting task). I've figured out that I have to dig further down in the list of people I share books with to find people who share more of a mix and don't share just classics and lit crit, for example. What are you reading now?
Three neighborhoods: Van Buren and Kedzie, Ohio St.
and Kedzie and Chicago Ave. and Pulaski Rd. A while back, though.
Suburbanite, huh? I suspect you would
fine the West Side not only exotic but
dangerous.
Yay! Another Stones of Summer reader! Woot!
I agree...anything that has a book for a head is excellent in my books
