Hi again!! Hope you are having a good summer!!! I haven't been around LT a whole lot either, but I check in as often as I can because I miss it and everyone!!! My reading has slowed down a bit, but I hope to still make 75 by the end of the year. Work, my son's baseball games, my fur kids and looking for a 2nd job take up much of my time. I've been thinking about starting a new hobby too. I want to try making terrariums, so I have been searching for and collecting supplies so I can get started.

Hope all is well!!!

Tammy
Hello there! First, let me thank you for your comment!
And, of course, you might be right about Lamb's novel... I'm not saying it was a bad novel, but for me, it didn't work as well as his other books, especially, as I know this much is true.
And well, that's what quality literature is about, right? It awakens different feelings among the readers, so we can learn long after we have closed the last page of the novel!
Hope to be hearing from you in the future!
Have a nice day!

Welcome to LibraryThing, kittenfish...
thanks - I will check out your recommendations :)
Hi kittenfish - I love reading Hiaasen. Enjoyed many. Read his recent "Star Island". Neat look into celebrity lives. I love his zany characters. Enjoy!
