Unfortunately, when I read most of Heyer's books, LibraryThing hadn't been invented. So I'm not 100% sure which ones I read. So I can't give a strong recommendation.
Perhaps you can check out the LibraryThing Georgette Heyer page to pick the most highly rated books. Or you can check out the various reviews for her books on Amazon.com. Either way is difficult because people tend to universally love her books.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I recommend any books by Georgette Heyer. She does historical romantic mystery fiction. You get the side benefit of learning about the social customs and language of the English Regency period. Ms. Heyer's style is so witty and humorous, you won't mind expanding your vocabulary to read her books.

My local public library has a lot of her books both hardbound and books on CD. Maybe you can check her out that way before making any purchase.
