About meI'm a reader, writer, editor, blogger, web designer, tarot reader and kitten tickler. Not necessarily in that order.

My essays and reviews have appeared in several magazines, including Konton, PanGaia and Trigger 93, and my poetry has been published most recently in Contemporary Verse 2, Line Zero, and The Antigonish Review. My essay "Strategic Magick" appears in Manifesting Prosperity (Megalithical, 2008).

About my librarySo far I've catalogued most of the books in my study, bedroom and living room, but there's still quite a bit more to go (such as my husband's office, the basement, and a few odds and ends). It's a big project.

For the interested (namely, me) I've begun keeping a list of the books I've read this year. It's ordered by month, and I update it every few weeks: http://nicomaramckay.com/reading/

Hello Nico! *waves*
we are a book store.

Give yourself a perfect day. Do what makes you happiest. Look upon what gives you joy. Speak to those who warm your heart. Listen to that which lifts your spirit. Surround yourself with sights and sounds and people who give you pleasure. For all the happiness you give to others all year long, give yourself a perfect day.
