About My Library
A flood destroyed more than 1000 books--all of my art, history, language and humor books; the first night I had moved to a temporary tent in the forest while my house was being built, a storm dropped a tree on the pole barn where my books were stored--at least another 1000. That's not counting those that were stolen by the builders along with a number of other things including (if you can believe it) my canned tomatoes. But, as you can see, nothing keeps me from reading. I am so delighted to find so many people sharing my tastes especially in books everyone else had found odd --I guess I haven't known all that many literate people.

I live in a forest--no post office, no library, no stores, lots of trees. My library is in a different county--Ludington in Mason County, Michigan.
