I am looking for new manga to read and I would prefer love ones, so if you could tell me some titles that would be great!

Do you want them in a particular language or availability?

My top recommendation isn't licensed in English, afaik the only English-language version is from a scan group, and it's only technically a love story. It's スキアスキ SUKIMASUKI ("love of small spaces", I guess? I dunno, Unita likes to use repeated morae in her titles - and sorry about the half-width katakana, I can't figure out how to type regular size with the language bar) and has a love story, but it isn't a traditional romance and it doesn't end with a HEA. But I adore it.

(also, tried to touchstone the title - only 2 of us have it catalogued here - but touchstones are being bitchy today)

do you have any more specific things you're looking for besides romance? i'm also quite curious as to what you think is a good "love" manga. :) and do you have a limit on length, etc?

i suppose that the more popular ones might be a good start. hana yori dango (boys before flowers) has been a favorite all over, so if you haven't read that........

Yeah I should have been more clear. I need them in english. And I guess I could go for any type of manga. I think a good "love" one would be if some people are in like a love triangle or forbidden love.

You might like Cat Street, then. It's about a girl who used to be a child actress, but when she was eleven or twelve became a hikikomori. When she's fifteen, she learns about a non-traditional school that doesn't pressure students to attend class or anything, and because she's lonely at home (amongst other reasons), she decides to enroll. Once there, she makes some friends, and learns to come to terms with the events that happened when she was little that caused her to withdraw. Plus, there's a bit of a love triangle.

Hana Yori Dango also has a love triangle, and it's more obvious and plays out over a much greater span than Cat Street. You'll find that the art style is kind of clunky at the beginning (since it's from the 90s), but is more modern at the end. It's about a girl whose family is making huge sacrifices in order to afford to send her to a really fancy private school, and she accidentally gets involved in a not-so-great way with the 4 richest and most powerful boys in the high school - except that she falls in love with one and another one falls in love with her, and there's a lot of fretting about the fact that they're from such different social spheres. It's something like 20 volumes long, and you're bound to find it in a store or library. I really like this one (and Cat Street) because the main characters aren't weak-willed whingey sorts of girls. They're not the greatest female characters ever, but they're among the best I've read.

Let's see... Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume has 2 or 3 volumes out in English so far (if I remember correctly - sorry that I don't know the English title) and has something of a love triangle, but it's more slice-of-life than romance. The romance is definitely there, though, you can't avoid it. It's about Uru-chan who is a very tiny high school girl (but very very strong) who moves into her own apartment after her mom remarries, and gets a job at a bakery in order to help pay expenses. There are two guys in the bakery, one is a sort of aloof but super hot 6-years-older guy (who just happens to live next door to her), the other is a cute puppy sort of 2-years-older guy who has a habit of getting really sleepy when he's hungry.

Another is Wild Ones, which is about a girl whose mom dies, leaving her an orphan, except that her previously-unheard-of grandfather shows up to take her in. And, surprise, he's a big-name yakuza. There's a boy her age who lives in the house and he becomes her guardian. Then, later, another yakuza's son needs a home and he comes to stay in the house, too. Both boys are in love with her, and they tend to fight over her. One thing about this story that bothers me is that it's slightly episodic, but doesn't have an entirely consistent chronology. It's almost as though there was a set length for serialization, but it got extended and new parts were added without really thinking about internal chronology.

These four are all shoujo manga available in English editions. I tried to think of some non-shoujo, but couldn't think of any shounen romance that had been licensed. The one that I'd recommend is Kimi wa Iru Machi ("The Town Where You Live"), but you'd have to download it from RedHawk Scans.

Also, these are all love triangles. I know of a few "forbidden love" involving teachers, siblings, drastically-different-ages, but none come to mind as being available in English, or else they didn't make enough of an impression on me to remember the titles. (It helps that the four I've listed, I see in my public library all the time.)

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Angel Sanctuary...it's got a very interesting forbidden love sort of thing going on - throw in some reincarnation, a bunch of angels, some demons, and the end of the world - and you've got yourself one very...unusual manga. ^_^

Also, here's another option for you:

This link will take you to a list of manga that have been labeled "forbidden love" and are available to buy in English: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Forbidden+Love&licensed=yes

These are ones that are labeled "love triangle" and also available to buy in English:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Love+Triangle&licensed=yes

You can use the genre labels to pick out ones that you think might be appealing, and you can click on the title to find out more about the plot or reviews or ratings.

Baka-Updates (the database I've linked to) is a really good resource for finding manga. It tells you whether a series is translated, by whom, and where you can get it. There are also ratings and reviews to help. Not all titles have categories, and some don't have all the categories that might be appropriate, but the ones that do have them are a good starting point.
