Very hard to rate. Since I instantly regretted reading it when finished, and wouldn't really recommend it to anyone ever... I guess by some definitions it isn't good? ( )

Stories from the man-o-sphere? A cautionary tale? Shock-value for shock-value's sake? Too much information? A personal Odyssey?

Well, I don't give a crap.

Hello Chuck Palahniuk, it was nice to finally meet you. ( )

Technically speaking, the writing is good, and the point Palahniuk makes about silences surrounding sexuality harming more than just the person keeping the secret is one that many more people should be aware of. However, the story is gross and frankly over the top in a way that I can't personally recommend. 2/5 stars. ( )

Eh. I mean, sure its a visceral story and all that. But at the end of it -- there's what to say about it? "oh it disgusted me" or "oh it made me want to puke" .... meh. Nothing there to it. No real story, no real drive, no real attitude. Just a story to be gross to be gross. Which is all fine for its place, just like horror movies, zombie movies, etc. But ultimately its vacuous and nothing there. ( )

Kat sent me.
I don't regret it.
I think I want more.
I also want significantly less.
Thank you. ( )
