My First Book about Farms by Kama Einhorn

Grover and Elmo tell the kids all about farms. Children will learn about farmers, animals, planting, harvesting and much more. Children will learn where milk and eggs comes. They will also learn about how crops are planted, grown, and harvested.

I think this is a great introduction to what happens on a farm. I like that it has some characters that children’s will be familiar with to help them learn about a farm.

I would use this book with Pre-K to Kindergarteners. I would read the book and then have the students retell the story with farm animal puppets. ( )
