Hexes and Hemlines (A Witchcraft Mystery #3) by Juliet Blackwell is a fun cozy, witchy mystery. I like the supernatural and it is a nice break for the heavier books to read a cozy book once in a while so this is perfect. It is a easy and fun read that kept me entertained. ( )

Lily Ivory, natural witch, owns Aunt Cora's Closet Vintage Clothing Shop.....

SFPD Detective, Carlos Romero calls Lily for help in finding the murderer of Malachi Zazi, who was the 13th member of a group of debunkers, who have all been having a run of bad luck.

While investigating the crime scene with Sailor, Lily comes across some powerful black magic & a rattlesnake......

Things spin out of control from there.....more and more bad magic comes into play.

Meanwhile, Max comes back to town, things heat up with Aidan, and we learn more about Lily's past and why she left Texas in the middle of the night....

The book has less to do with the actual crime & goings on of the suspects and focuses more on the magickal aspect....

I plan on reading the next one when it it published.

'Tis the night - the night
Of the grave's delight,
And the warlocks are at their play;
