O enjoyed this as she likes collecting things from nature and this little girl certainly finds unique items! ( ) The character of Anna is round and static. We learn about her love of nature and living creatures as well as her relationship with her parents, grandmother and teacher. Yet she does not change over the course of the book because the book is a reflection about her love of nature and her nature table. Her character is revealed through her thoughts, and the pictures. This book is a good example of a realistic fiction. It is set in present day and relates the girls genuine love and exploration of nature.
