3/4 (Good).
It's not particularly country or western, and it was definitely not modern. I like the idea of a Ray Charles album that focuses on his voice; he's got one of the best. But why is it made up almost entirely of songs that already had iconic versions? And why does it need to sound like he's a Nat King Cole imitator circa 1957?
