This great family strip sort of ages them as we go, but at a rate of the author's own interpretation. Zoe and Hammie seem to have matriculated a little more. Hammie is more than holding his own against his older sister, while Zoe is pushing for a credit card ("Oh Dad, cash is so kindergarten."). Wren seems to be holding steady as she goes, and the long-suffering parents are holding their own, barely, as they have had to move from a man-to-man to a zone defense. ( )
