I'm a sucker for a well written, captivating M/M romance novel. It's my complete weakness. I love them to be filled with intensity, real-to-life issues, passionate sizzling romance and characters that will make a forever home in your heart. Jaime Samms is an author who created just such a M/M romance. From start to finish, this book wouldn't let me go. I literally read this book in one day. Everytime I would set it down, it called to me, begging me to come back and finish! And I did....and I was completely amazed at this entire story.

Tyler's character was my weakness in this story. I absolutely adored him. I felt so bad for all he endured....all he wanted was to find happiness. But, with an boyfriend like Jake that everyone seems to warn him against, he may have found his happiness. Or did he? I loved finding out the answer to that question. Poor Tyler, though. I wanted to wrap him in a big hug and tell him all would work out! Following Tyler to a party his boss sent him to was fun....until Jake happened to have a surprise waiting.

Grrr...I was completely hating on Jake! He was such a not-so-hot-despite-his-uber-good-looks kinda guy. I wanted to throttle him for his treatment of Tyler. Seriously, I really didn't like his character, but he was an incredible rounding aspect to the story, bringing Tyler's issues and life into full circle.

Steven...oh my god! I wanted to be Tyler so many times! I adored Steven, too, though I will say that he harbors secrets...ones that could destroy his new found friendship with Tyler. But, like Tyler, all Steven wants is a happy ending. Reading his part of the story and cheering him, I was shocked at the ending! (No, I'm not telling you what happens...you'll have to get the book and read it for yourself to find that out!)

With a few extra secondary characters, like Liberty aka Libby and Marty, Ms. Samms completes the story with a 5 Book worthy finish. I was anxious to see what happened in the end and it was a complete surprise! I loved it! If you love m/m romances that aren't overly sappy and mushy, or that have intense moments, then Jaime Samms' As Advertisedis for you. It's a wonderful story of finding out where you belong, who you belong with and what true love is all about. Sometimes, things don't always come as advertised...sometimes they can be worse.....or better. Wonderful job, Ms. Samms! I can't wait to see another amazing story just like this one!
