This book is a printing of the diary that Robyn Miller kept during her teenage years that talks about her struggle with losing friends to the same disease that she is fighting. There are small details mentioned throughout the book that really make the setting for this story. Much of Robyn's time is spent in the hospital and she talks about simple details about the hospital rooms and noises that she hears, such as hearing her friend next door listening to the Honeymooners late at night. These kind of details fit into the story well and really help the reader feel as though they are in the hospital watching all of the events happening and getting to know the people in the hospital.
