It has clear photos of items starting with the letter at hand. Some of the items could have been better thought out. "P" includes a python which for the age this book is intended is merely confusing since most children would identify it as a "snake." There are a few of these ambiguous items i.e. the letter "I" shows a large beetle and a bottle of spilled ink. It is supposed to be insect and ink, neither of which would be familiar to most pre-schoolers. Children will need an adult companion to get the most out of this flawed book. ( )
