It would be easy to write him off as a popular writer, but he looks much farther beneath the surface of events than most people usually do, and is not governed by the passions. (“Boy sees his father/Crushed under the weight/Of a cross in a passion/Where the passion is hate.” U2). It took me longer than I expected or wanted to read this book. However, I was able to pull some very good lessons out of it and apply them to several situations that I was facing during 2013. I did not finish reading it because...well, once I learned how to let go of different negative feelings I was harboring in those situations I mentioned, I just didn't feel like reading the rest.
