My rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Smoke Jensen is one of the best known and loved fictional characters in the western genre of Johnstone country. Smoke Jensen’s given birth name is Kirby Jensen, but when an old mountain man saw the quick reflexes of this man, he dubbed him “Smoke” and it stuck.
In Revenge of the Mountain Man, Smoke is working his ranch away from home when he gets word that harm has come to Sally, his wife. She was shot and left for dead by men who were carrying out a vendetta, so Smoke rushes home to be with her not knowing whether she is alive or not. Sally is a hard woman to kill and though seriously injured, she takes a trip east to visit family to recuperate and have her baby. Smoke goes on the trail of the killers. When he finds them, nothing will stop him from taking care of those who harmed his wife.
Smoke Jensen is a man who doesn’t run away from a fight but doesn’t go looking for one either. He is a man who is passionate about his family, ranch and country. Smoke and Sally are characters that give liberally to others, stands by friends and against enemies. There are many Smoke Jensen books awaiting to entertain readers for hours, so I hope you’ll read them all! More Smoke adventure and action can also be found in The Jensen Family Brand Series, The Family Jensen series, and the authors yearly Christmas novels.
