Lots of intertwining story lines, culminating in a decades-long revenge plot. (

This cliche ridden novel is ripe for the Lifetime Movie Channel. Poor runaway escapes horrible life at home for the bright lights of Holiwood. She hooks up with a young drifter with a heart of gold or so it seems until his own dreams get in the way of their relationship. A horrible betrayal pushes our heroine to the edge...and many years and successes later she'll have her revenge.
I read it after my final exams in University, so I wasn't looking for depth. (
