Believable romance btwn MCs who have lost previously their beloved partners. Other characters excellently woven in to the story. ( )

A lot of things could of been frustrating about this book but it wasn't. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Megs and Godric talked things through in ways that felt mature and loving. I loved them so much ( )

First-rate romance with solid mystery subplot.

Another book, another Ghost of St. Giles, another soul needing redemption.

This time redemption comes in the form of Lady Margaret Reading, who returns to town with a motive, she wants a baby from her estranged husband. He, Godric St. John, has been living a secluded daytime life in London and then endangering his life as the Ghost in the evenings.

Then Lady Margaret shows up without warning at Godric's London house, complete with his sister, her great-aunt and a pregnant pug. His life will never be the same.

I gave this 3 stars on my first read, but after the second read, I think it actually deserves 4. It's pretty good. The heroine is a bit of a ninny for a good chunk of the book, but the story is entertaining, and the hero, though not particularly dashing to start, really becomes quite endearing. ( )
