This is a pretty good start to a spin off series. This was a cute and quick read. Kontra and his gang first appeared in the Wolves of Stone Ridge series which I really liked. I’ll enjoy getting to know the gang better. I did like Mutegi's Sweet One, but it had a lot of potential to be so much more. This would have been an easy 5 star for me if there had been a bit more depth and background on the characters instead of feeling a little rushed. ( )
