An altogether beautiful book, but from my experience with the 'Ology' series, I doubt that the facts are accurate, though I have not studied fairies yet. But I did enjoy reading this book and looking at the beautiful drawings and pictures. ( )

Meh.
This book is OK. It's pretty and fun, but it seems like a hasty attempt to cash in on the 'Ologies' series' popularity rather than an earnest attempt to contribute to fairy lore. The cramped cursive writing is difficult for children to read, but the content isn't interesting enough to hold adults' attention when Froud's works are so instantly superior. ( )

charming. not as pretty or as engaging as brian froud's work, though, and likely thrown in simply as part of a set. ( )
