This book is for beginner readers or for students who are just learning how to read.
It is about some mice who are out ice skating and the shapes they can make in the ice. It promotes imagination and creativity.
I would absolutely recommend this book for any early childhood classrooms for students to not only practice reading but learn about shapes as well.

Mice on ice is ideal for beginner readers. Children will be amused by the shapes and colors of this book. I specially loved the ending kids will have a great time trying to figure out what is being outlined (a cat!).

A very simple book for beginner readers. With only a sentence on the page the illustrations tell most of the story. Mice are ice skating when they see a stranger. The stranger is a cat who is wearing a hat and turns out to be very friendly. They all skate together and have much fun. ( )
