Nursed back to health, Tesnayr makes a new life for himself and begins to think that his past is behind him. Then the orcs arrive led by Galbrok. They quickly ravage the land. Faced with a terrible choice, Tesnayr forms his own army to stop them and quickly draws the attention of each of the five kings.Yet, Tesnayr's past refuses to release him. The title only grants a portion of the full scope of this broad strokes high fantasy. Tesnayr is a hard nosed, haunted hero that at times behaves like an anti-hero. It is difficult to describe my experience while reading Legends Lost. I can say that it took me much longer than I expected, partly due to other commitments and the level of concentration it takes to really let this book soak in. Fans of Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series will enjoy this complex and brilliantly thought out tale. ( )

"Legends Lost Tesnayr " was one of the most exciting fantasy books I have read. Nova Rose out did herself by bring such life into her characters. It takes talent to get a reader so engrossed in the book that they can envision each character.

I loved the characters in this book, you have dragons, monsters, orcs, kings, talking unicorns and the wizard.

I loved the wizard, who had a slight drinking problem. I really loved when Arnin and Tesnayr threw the wizard into the water, it was like he had no clue that he smelled so bad.

King Slyamal's was another great character, as he able to put his appearances aside. King Slyamal like he would appear weak or as a beggar if he rode out to see Tesnayr, but instead he shown great courage for a man of his stature and humbled himself to the point that he agreed he would ride out to Tesnayr.

One of the great aspects of the books is that there is so much emotion taking place. Tesnayr talks to King Shealayr about the Orcs entering his home. Rybnik asking Jenel for forgiveness. The story also brings death, romance and adventure.

This book is for young adult, but no matter what, people of all ages will have a hard time putting this book down.

I am hoping that there is another addition to this story, as I really want to see were this will lead us too. ( )
