A fun, summer read very much in the vain of Sarah Dessen. I enjoyed this one and will likely read others by Susane Colasanti.

How does a girl from New Jersey not know about Wawa and Tastykake? Seriously? Plus, please stop with the insta-love, and show, don't tell. Despite the NJ appeal, I don't think I'll be ordering it for my library. ( )

I liked that the book was overall positive and happy, and that the chapters alternated perspectives between the two main characters, but I didn't feel connected to any of the characters. I can see an effort to make the story reflect inner turmoil, but nevertheless I still felt like the whole thing was superficial. ( )

All I need was a decent teen romance story. This was my second or third time reading Susane Colasanti, and I think I just do not enjoy her style of writing compared to similar books by different authors. Although I don't necessarily regret the time I spent reading it, I don't think I'll pick up another of her works in the future. ( )

Ok...so this was very cute and very lovey-dovey-mushy. I found All I Need perfect for a quick beach read but overall it wound up being just too young for me to enjoy. It was very cheesy and lacked anything serious or solid for mature reading.

While the kids were cutesy, there was no hook, no allure and no potential to be more serious. While I understand the Disney teen appeal, I found myself comparing it to High School Musical without the music in a negative way.....whinny, bratty kids insta-loving in ten minutes.....not the best impression to walk way with.

That said, All I Need is pure fluff, and great brain candy for summer reading, I think it would be fantastic for younger (15-17) teen readers who are looking for mushy teen reads....however readers looking for more depth would probably want to pass it by. ( )
