I loved this book. It had me from the very first page to the very last.I felt so bad for Theo when the bullies would pick on him, or the fact that now that his parents have money they no longer have time for Theo and his little sister Marie. The characters are likable and the way the description of the land they find themselves in is written you can picture it in your mind. Who wouldn't want to ride an escarot, meet a yurt and shottlefairies. The book is written for young readers but adults will enjoy it also. If I had to pick one thing I would change it would be to have Marie call Theo by his name and not constantly brother. As a big fan of the Harry Potter series I can honestly say move over Harry, Theo has arrived. When is book 2 coming out, I can't wait to find out what else happens to Theo and his band of friends. I received this book from the author for review and I highly recommend it. ( )
