We have two individuals with difficult family and honestly these two needed a break, well especially Sterling my heart went out to her she has done enough. Unfortunately for her the way she meets Jack is cringe worth, to be throwing up in front of a hot guy! Huh I felt for her..Luckily Jack noticed there was just something about her and they give in to there attraction and have a hot affair, which i honestly felt they needed, of course something had to happy and they misunderstand situation but luckily it does get resolved for their sakes..Grab a copy and enjoy!

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions. ( )

Recipe for Satisfaction is a great blend of Steamy Romance and Fun Back and Forth between the characters. The first book in a new series from the Entangled Brazen Collection, Gina Gordon introduces Sterling Andrews a slightly uptight woman who has a habit of letting others including her parents walk all over her. Just when she decides she needs more in her life, enter Jack Vaughn the bad boy of the Madewood Family. Bad Boy his title might be, but Jack is really a great guy who comes to truly care for Sterling and want her in his life.
Gordon has my attention and I can't wait to see what is in store for the rest of the brothers in this family. ( )

Recipe for Satisfaction definitely has what I’ve come to expect with Brazen books, HOT sex and lots of it. This is the first book in Gina Gordon’s Madewood Brothers Series and it does a nice job of setting you up and introducing you to all the brothers. First up is youngest brother, Jack Vaughn. Jack along with Neil, Finn and Cole were all foster kids taken in by Vivian Madewood as teenagers. Unlike his older brothers who joined the family business, Jack felt the need to prove himself and branch out on his own. Consequently, his brothers are constantly giving him a hard time, thinking that what he’s doing isn’t important.

Sterling Andrews is a professional organizer. It’s her job to keep people organized although her life isn't organized at all. Sterling makes a modest salary and should be having fun and living a great life. But she’s pigeon-holed herself into being extremely sensible and not allowing herself to have fun at all.

Sterling and Jack are two people who are more than what people see and more than what they view themselves as. The two meet on board a yacht that is hosting a charity event for Cooking for the Future, the charity program created by Vivian Madewood. The attraction is instant and the two agree to a one night “help each other get back on the horse” fling. After all, Jack is known as a ladies man and Sterling has no time or desire for anything more than that. She just wants to allow herself one night of being exciting Sterling instead of boring Sterling. Unfortunately, Sterling's parents get in the way and her plans fall through.

Sterling inspires Jack and he just can’t get enough of her. He convinces her friend, Penn who works for the Madewood family to give him Sterling’s phone number. Jack then offers Sterling a job as a way to spend more time with her. Jack then convinces/challenges Sterling to step out of her comfort zone, have fun, and spend the next four weekends in his bed.

During their month together, they each see the good in each other that no one else sees. Jack shows and shares things with Sterling that no one knows. Sterling unfortunately reveals very little. As things heat up to the point of no return, Sterling’s family issues get in the way.

I immediately fell in love with Jack. No only is he a talented chef; he’s smart, caring, hot and oh my...the things he can do both in and out of the bedroom. Sterling is a heroine that I like. She’s a little tightly wound up, but it’s because of her past. I hate that she’s so hard on herself all the time. She let’s her deadbeat parents guilt trip her constantly. Jack and Sterling are really good together.

I’m looking forward to the other books in this series.

Series: Madewood Brothers #1

"Recipes For Satisfaction" by Gina Gordon was a good read that had it all from fun, sex, seduction, frustrating, romance and then love that only this author can give. This was the first of this series: Madewood Brothers #1 which introduce you to Jack and Sterling's story. The story line was great only to keep me reading until the end even though it was somewhat predictable. All of the characters seemed very well developed and so real even the 'bad boy.'

"Recipes For Satisfaction" was a quick run read that will only leave you wanting the next series. Would I recommend? YES! ( )
