My taste isn't exactly the same as Trelease's, but he does have a lot of good samples of different books and stories here. Not only does he have the texts, but he includes biographies of the authors, pronunciation guides, contextual and other aids to the understanding of the stories (that is, for stories from non-European or older cultures) and *lots* of suggestions for further reading.
