My mother and I went to Europe for three months in 1969 and used this book. Only one time did we end up in a scary neighborhood, and when the "expensive" countries were averaged with the "cheap" countries, it did come out to about $5.00 a day per person. How times have changed. I still have my original copy that travelled with us. I keep it because of fond memories. ( )
