If you like to read a gothic story where there are not just apparitions but something more horrific and secretive, then this is a story for horror lovers. ( )

The narrator was moved by the scientist's claim that 'consciousness is the product of rhythm.' I don't even know what that means. He goes on to derive that, therefore, everything is conscious. Huh?
