After Liam and the Delaney twins’ dating adventures of the previous book and the surprise question at the end, it was clear to me that matters would be much more serious from now on. As expected, Liam moves in with the men he has come to love, and stuff gets real. With him under their control 24/7, and all three men loving every minute of it, the relationship becomes more formalized – even without any overt promises. Liam had already begun to call Johnny and Mark his masters, and for good reason as becomes apparent when they veer into real BDSM territory in this fifth book of the series.

Liam is happier than he has ever been. He walks into his new home and, before he can even unpack or figure out where he might sleep, he is kissed to an inch of his life, then sent upstairs. Like in all new relationships, and that is really what the three men are facing here, there are a few surprises, some issues, and an incident with a gun. There are two gangsters, after all. But the humor with which said incident was described made me laugh; it is so typical of the humor and feel of this entire series!

But it isn’t all strict orders and sweet obedience. Liam has not been entirely truthful about his aborted career as a painter, and Mark is not amused. Of course, he finds a way to fix that – much to Liam’s increased stress levels – but there is more. The punishment that follows is almost more than Mark can bear, but he likes every second, and that makes it very hot indeed.
If you want to see Liam move in with his two gangsters and begin enjoying domestic bliss, if a sexy spanking with all sorts of consequences sounds interesting, and if you’re looking for a read that is funny, entertaining, and leaves the three lovers closer to each other than ever before, then you will probably like this short story.
