I loved the book. I love family biographies in general. THE HILTONS is well written and fully of juicy details. Conrad Hilton comes off as an excellent businessman if somewhat of an orgre. I was particularly interested in the books because I had done business with Congrad late in his life and had frequent business dealings with his son, Barron when he took over running the company. Conrad's marriage to ZsaZsa Gabor feels like an albatross around his neck and despite the brief marriage he could never shake her. She stayed in his life, unwilling to let go. She comes off as a real light weight. Self absorbed, superficial, unstable. She is a live at last count at 97 years of age. If you like true family sagas of the rich and the famous this book will suit you just fine. I was thrilled with it. ( )
