A comedic director struggles with finding meaning in his work.

Woody's parody (or maybe homage is a better word) of 8½. It's pretty funny. We're lucky that we happened to watch this a few weeks after watching 8½; if we hadn't, we wouldn't have known it was parody, and a lot of it would have come across as pretentious. ( )
