A decent enough cricket anthology here, with entries from Freddie Titmus, Brian Close, Jack Fingleton, Tony Cozier, Richie Benaud, Learie Constantine and others.

Some of the articles show their age (the only article by a woman is entitled "The Handsomest Men in Cricket" - Denis Comopton, Norman O'Neil, Ted Dexter, John Edrich, Richie Benaud, Keith Miller, Neil Harvey, Rohan Kanhai, Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie and Sir Frank Worrell, in case you were wondering) but there is certainly some interesting reading therein. Frank Tyson's writing is always readable but my favorite entry was by Clive Taylor, a chap I had frankly never heard of (cricket correspondent for "The Sun" circa late 60s, apparently), who wrote of England's 1969 tour of Pakistan, featuring Colin "Ollie" Milburn and his infamous renditions of "Green, Green Grass of Home".
