I strongly recommend that you read the novella, [b:Wild Hearts (Novella): The Justiss Alliance Series|20260161|Wild Hearts (Novella) The Justiss Alliance Series|Tina Wainscott|/assets/nocover/60x80.png|26341273] first so that you get some insights into why and how these SEAL's joined Case Justiss in his private security firm. Wild On You centres around Risk and Addie. They meet when Risk is hired to protect Addie after she attracts the wrong sort of attention as an animal rescuer and animal rights advocate. For Risk, this is his first assignment out of the military and as a member of the Justiss Alliance crew and he is wondering if he made the right decision to join Chase, thinking that a babysitting job is his first foray into private security. Both Risk and Addie are not looking for anything permanent in a relationship, not wanting the distraction or complications that they think a committed relationship will bring. When they first set eyes on each other there is instant attraction. Their relationship heats up and we see a see-saw of emotions as they both fight the attraction, wanting to stay focused on their jobs but when the sparks fly, they both realise that they want more. I loved that Addie was so strong in her convictions and so capable of looking after herself. She was fearless and focused on the cause. I also enjoyed seeing her transition and her thought processes and realisations around her relationship with Risk when they reach the point of no return. The banter between the two was fun and I loved how well suited they were for each other, both strong, courageous and fully committed once they have made their minds up. Really, who can resist a muscle-bound, protective, handsome SEAL who would do anything to keep you safe? Risk lived up to his name and risked everything for Addie. He took charge when he needed to without crushing Addie's dreams. He didn't do anything that made me roll my eyes when he realised his true feelings for Addie. He laid his feelings all out for her to see and stated what he wanted for their relationship, and I was so happy about that. Not all bad-ass men have to be rough and overbearing. Even though there is a short time-frame in this story, I believed their instant attraction and I thought the progression of their relationship was well paced. All the while, there is intrigue as to the identity of Addie's threat and I thought these scenes blended well with their love story. The action-packed climax is well executed and I really enjoyed watching this story unfold. I enjoyed that we also get to see the other characters from Wild Hearts, their easy-going banter and obvious loyalty to each other. Sax played a part in the action scenes in this book and I like the fact that we are going to see more than just a mention of the characters in each book. I thought the author is doing a great job at building the world around these characters. I really am enjoying the suspense-romance books that I am reading at the moment and this one is no different.
