I wouldn't be sad if there was a third book or novella but I have read Kami's response and I know that it is unlikely to happen. I would love to find out where the characters ended up after this book ends but I understand the barriers that Kami was facing when the third book was not picked up by the publisher.

This book was over way to soon. As with the first book, my only complaint is that this was not long eniugh.
Jared. I wonder what will happen to him. ( )

It's an easy read -- seductive and fast-paced. I am having a hard time believing the plot points (why does the demon allow himself to be captured so easily? Why are these kids so over-the-top about each other's mistakes? White dove, really? Angst, angst, angst.) There is no doubt whatsoever that this book is merely the stand-in plot futherance awaiting book 3 for resolution -- which pretty much kills the tension -- why get all worked up about Jared's dangerous situation when you know nothing's going to be settled until next book? Meh. It sounds like I hated it, but I didn't. It lacks a certain grace and subtlety. ( )

Secrets tear apart relationships and that's never more true than in Kami Garcia's latest book from The Legion series. Unmarked reveals many secrets that the group called The Legion has been keeping from one another. They also find out about more secrets that family members outside the group haven't shared - secrets that have led them to the point where Lukas is now possessed by the demon, Andras with little hope of recovering from it. Garcia gives us a Da Vinci Code style treasure hunt along with the continuing romance between Lukas and Kennedy. I'm already anxious for the next installment in this scary and engrossing series. ( )
