Shades of 4th grade and all the angst that goes along with it. You beg for a dog and then its your responsibility to walk it! There's the school play and you get stuck being the good gnome instead of the evil sorcerer how can you get out of that one!! Fun book, when they get to the play scenes it picks up steam. ( )
