Describing ??? aircraft, details of their design, development and deployment, with technical details of the power units, performance and armaments.
Green's series remains one of the best tech/history books of WW2 aircraft. small in size (5.5x5 in) the books are large in stature. Despite the short aircraft bio's, accompanied w/b+w photos & 3 view drawings, each review is highly detailed yet accessible to even pedestrian readers of flight histories. The 10 (?) vol series first appeared in 1960 w/aircraft presented by nationality within type.
