Loading... Sometimes You Barf (Nancy Carlson Picture Books)by Nancy L. Carlson
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() I really liked this book. I think the author does a great job explaining that everyone goes through an illness once in a while and we may barf. As embarrassing as it is, the author tries to connect with the audience and let them know that it is ok and that it will all be better again. I felt like the book was written for e since I had quite a few embarrassing moments while I was in elementary school. I wish I would've have such a cute book to feel a bit better about myself. Laugh out funny! The best line "When you barf at school, be prepared, because everyone will go nuts!" The accompanying illustrations are great, with green faces galore. Starts out low key, everyone (dogs, cats...) barfs and builds up from there. The story does not leave out the embarrassment of returning to school after 'an incident'. no reviews | add a review
Everybody barfs. Dogs, cats, chickens, alligators, and even you. It happens to everyone, and sometimes it even happens . . . at school. With her characteristic humor and compassion, Nancy Carlson helps young readers through what is often a scary and embarrassing rite of passage. Sometimes you barf. But it's OK. You get better!
