There's still nothing really exciting yet, but that's because Kubo is still fleshing out the world and setting up the story. Ichigo is fleshed out more, Rukia's naiveté of the real world peaks through, Chad and Orihime are introduced as promising characters, and a few new characters are introduced. There are lots of hints dropped, promising that the story will get even better. ( )

I love to read this book and watch it every saturday on adult swim. It's about a 15 year old boy who can see ghosts and spirits and becomes a soul reaper to save his friends from other spirits and the leader of the espadas lord Izen ( )

This series is great. i prefer to read deathnote over this because this just jumps right into the the action straight off the bat. I do like this series though. Maybe there is someone that would like jumping straight into the action! ( )

I really recommend this series. A teenage boy helps direct souls in the afterlife to soul society where they can live peacefully. Only Hollows (corrupted souls) get in the way and even harm innocent souls. Ichigo relies on friends and family to fight for what is right. ( )

Book description
Immediately after checking into the Kurosaki Clinic with a mysterious scar on his back, the muscle-bound Chad goes AWOL. Accompanying Chad is a talking parakeet imbued with the soul of a young boy named Yūichi. It doesn't take newbie Shinigami Ichigo Kurosaki long to surmise that a Hollow must be involved--the strongest spirit he's faced to date. Ichigo is about to discover that not every soul is bound for the Soul Society, especially if it's tainted with innocent blood.
