La vida puede interpretarse como un largo viaje, o quizás mejor, como una larga búsqueda, que a Ibn le condujo desde Sevilla a Damasco, pasando por las principales ciudades del Islam de su época. Su ingente obra ha sido y es objeto de estudios por especialistas tanto en países de habla árabe como en el mundo occidental. Realizó numerosas recopilaciones de hadices (dichos atribuidos al profeta Mahoma (SAWS)). Esta que aquí se presenta, Mishkat al anwar, pretende contribuir a la difusión de la obra de este insigne escritor, poco conocido por el gran público. -
Life can be interpreted as a long journey, or perhaps better, as a long search, that led Ibn from Seville to Damascus, through the main cities of Islam of his time. If huge work has been and is the object of studies by specialists both in Arabic-speaking countries and in the Western world. He made numerous compilations of hadiths (sayings attributed to the Prophet Muhammad). This is presented here, Mishkat al anwar, aims to contribute to the dissemination of the work of this famous writer, little known by the general public.

El TABERNÁCULO DE LAS LUCES

Ibn al'Arabl (1165-1240) nació en Murcia
en el seno de una familia originarla de Arabia.

Su vida puede Interpretarse como un largo viaje,
o quizás mejor, como una larga búsqueda,
que le condujo desde Sevilla, donde se Instaló
su familia en 1173, hasta Damasco,
donde murió, pasando por las principales
ciudades del Islam en su época.

Si Ingente obra ha sido y es objeto de estudios
por especialistas tanto en países de habla árabe
ㅢengua en la que escribió su obra-
como en el mundo occidental.

Ibn al'Arabl realzó numerosas recopilaciones
de hadices (Dichos atribuidos al profeta Mahoma).

Esta que aquí se presenta, Mishkat
al anwar, pretende contribuir a la difusi6n
de la obra de este Insigne escritor poco conocido
por el gran Publico.
