Leigh Michaels' regency romances are known for their humor, and this was no exception. Elinor is determined not to marry the elderly man her guardian picked out for her, and she's willing to run away to be free. Even willing to get assistance from Lord Rake, whose reputation as a seducer of women is well established. It's a short read with good grounding in the Regency Period. A pleasant afternoon read. ( )
