Flourless to Stop Him, is the third book in the A Baker's Treat Mystery series.

Times are busy in Oiltop, Christmas is quickly approaching and Toni Holmes is busy baking holiday treats and hoping sales will skyrocket so she can set aside monies to let her make it till the tourist season starts again. The last thing she needs is for her brother to be arrested for murder and a major snow fall to hit town. But as the saying goes: “That's life”.

Toni is visiting with her best friend, Tasha Wilkes, at the Red Tile Inn when Maria, a maid there, comes in and say she has just found a dead body in the room she has started to clean. The body turns out to be Howard Petry, a good friend of her brother Tim and the room was allegedly rented by Tim. When a package of cocaine is found in Toni's garage, Tim is arrested on a charge of murder and drug dealing. But Toni's is too busy at the bakery to really get too involved with clearing her brother's name, relying on Grandma Ruth's investigative reporters skills. But then she finally puts “family” first helping Grandma solve the case.

Most of the regular characters from previous books are back to help Toni, one way or another.

Will be looking forward to the next book in this tasteful series and to see if there is really romance in Toni's future. ( )
