Hardly any words at all, but the language that is used is amazing - lots of words are made-up robot sounds that are so expressive it's pretty stunning. The story is exciting, sad, scary, and very emotional, and the artwork is both endearing and powerful. All in all the book is incredible. ( ) I really loved this book because it was unique. Yes, it was a science fiction picture book, but it was only a picture book. There were not words at all, which is very different I think for a science fiction book. That's one of the reasons why I loved this book. I think that this is a really great chapter book for third or fourth graders. I think this is a great book to help them understand the concept of a graphic novel because it's easy to follow and fun to read. The plot of the story is fun. It would help them learn about graphic novels AND science fiction at the same time. Sometimes science fiction can be hard to understand because it's not a part of this world, but this book makes it easy. It could also be a cute book to teach students about friendship and finding friends in unexpected places or times, I really recommend this book to teachers. no reviews | add a review
